Excellent Stay at the Railway Bed & Breakfast
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Railway Bed & Breakfast for a business trip, which was selected by my director. The location is fantastic—just a short five-minute walk from Skipton's town center and conveniently near the railway and bus stations. My room, though small, was comfortable and well-equipped, perfect for a night's stay. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning, featuring a wide variety of options expertly prepared by the staff. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, making it easy to unwind after a long day of meetings. From my past visits, I know the restaurant serves really good food, although it was closed for dinner during my stay on a Monday. The staff were consistently pleasant and helpful, further enhancing my experience. Given the recent change in ownership, I’m hopeful that the high standards of service will continue.
Limited parking availability.

I had a lovely stay! The staff were super friendly, and my room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was a real highlight-best I've had in ages! While the WiFi could be better, the location was convenient and the food at the pub was great. Highly recommend!

The total stay was really really nice on business trip. The staff was exceptional, gave advice about the city. The location of the hotel was handy - at a short distance from Skipton War Memorial. It was a domestic area, a good base for me.
Their staff were quite busy.

The room was a great size for two, offering ample space for our clothes and personal items. The database features were impressive, particularly the detailed local information and user-friendly interface, which made planning our activities seamless.
One minor downside was the occasional slight noise from the hallway, but it never disrupted my peace. I can’t fault my experience and would happily return.

We really enjoyed our romantic escape! The location was perfect - just a short stroll from the train station and town, making it super convenient. The food was fantastic too, with massive portions and a lovely breakfast served by friendly staff.
The stairs to our room were pretty steep, which could be tricky for some. The shower needed a bit more attention, and we found some cleanliness issues that were a letdown. the breakfast hours were quite early for us, so we missed that. a solid stay with a few things to improve!

The food is all homemade and reasonably priced, with standout dishes like the steak and ale pie. It's just a short walk to town, making it convenient for exploring. , rating: 9, date of stay: 2024-05-15}

A gem of a pub with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere made for a pleasant stay, though the room was cramped compared to what was advertised. Breakfast was excellent, and the evening meals I observed looked appealing. A lovely experience with just a minor hiccup in room selection.

I gotta tell you about this place. The bed was perfect, like seriously, I seemed like I was sinking into pure comfort. And then there's the breakfast, just what I needed before my big run, it fueled me up good! Plus, they have a cozy bar area where I got to unwind after a long day.
Wasn't exactly a bargain, but worth every penny.
